A lot of it was emotional, and of course the dreaded jet lag took over a week. Someone once said that for every hour of time difference you lose it takes one day to recover. I always thought it was an old wives tale, or do we have to say “old person’s tale” for small segments of uber flaky sensitive people in this world tee hee!? 🙄 Nope…it’s old wives (but not literally) in any language for anyone with a normal sense of humor so there, this is MY blog remember? Anyway, on this occasion it was exactly 8 days to the day before I felt better.

Rather than sit around looking back on the great time I had in Vegas and people I miss, I decided to take my default position and throw myself back into spanking work. I spent ages the past few weeks re-designing my website and then sorting out speed, and other technical problems with my host. It has been frustrating but we got there and I know more now.

Back to Spanking, and although I’ve always considered myself to be a girl who just get spanked for her real behavior, I am not really a “spanking lifestyler” and don’t like that expression, but somebody recently said it about certain types of people in the scene who practice or enjoy spanking for a variety of reasons. However, it does distinguish us from those who may work professionally as spanking performers, or are just in it for money and will do anything for that where spanking is a clip on service. In my case, I have always been 90% a lifestyler and 10% Emma Bishop. In the absence of a fuller relationship in this lifestyle, which I am really not actively looking for anymore after making some wrong choices before, being professional me gives me a little of what I want and need and keeps me busy and full of fun. It is my happy place and I feel confident, and I can built the right sort of professional distance I need to do my best work.

So, I put out some adverts on ITC Magazine and got myself relisted on Spankeefinder again. I have had so many emails and phone calls every day it has literally been a full time job, but now I have bookings through October and November, with still some spaces left. Incidentally I am attending the following events:

• Night of the Cane, London, UK – Sunday 19th October
• Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar, Birmingham, UK – Saturday 15th (afternoon) until Monday 17th November (morning)

One thing I hadn’t considered offering was a ‘live’ online service. I was really surprised to be asked my a few people if I do short sessions, where I am virtually disciplined or scolded online with maybe even a bit of self spanking (which I’m not a fan of, but whatever, it’s not a hard limit!). I was told that other girls offer this and I would be really good at it. I said “Yes OK, why not?” and they pretty quickly booked a date with me. As a professional actress, and real-life naughty girl, who currently still has a spanking mentor outside of my professional work, it gave me the idea to put together some sort of video.

My creative brain was whirling and after sorting out my ‘library’, I wrote myself a little script, quickly memorised it in a few minutes so I was fluent (my rehearsed reading in Theatre School and film acting training helped), and I quickly sorted out a few outfits to wear. I had bought a WWII US Army Uniform, but it was still in the bag and heavily creased. Nevertheless, I needed it right now, so I’m sorry I look a mess and would fail uniform inspection! I also didn’t have any black boots so I quickly borrowed size 11’ish from my male flatmate, and waded over to my mock up film set trying not to trip over!.

It was fun to do a promotional video because it really serves two purposes:

• Some people only like Online long-distance roleplay anyway and the imagination of a situation they may be too far away to actually do. Or they might be trapped in a situation where they are restricted from enjoying real life action easily.
• If we get on well online so to speak, and they want to meet me and spank my bottom in real life, then at least they have an idea of what I am like and it’s not a surprise. If they don’t like me, well, they can book one of the lovely more beautiful girls out there without wasting time and money.

I did a trial before my first 10-minute session and took some pictures so I could see how it looked to the viewer. Moving around in front of a vertically positioned smartphone in a more dimly lit room is a lot different from a professional photo shoot with big cameras and lights, so it was a good learning experience. I do have some lights I can add but if its’s only 10 minutes and I look reasonably OK then I will leave it as it is.

Anyway, here is the final result, after of course using some of my other professional day job skills 🙂 !
